Digital View first exhibited at SID’s DisplayWeek, the premier exhibition for the electronic display industry in North America, in 1998. This year we followed a theme consistent with prior years showcasing our existing LCD controller board range as well as a number of new models such as:
- ALT-1920: Following the layout and design of the ALR-1920 but adding a few features such as variable aspect scaling, a baud rate of 9600, audio line-in and a connection for an ambient light sensor as well as moving to utilize ceramic capacitors for extended lifetime.
- AVD-2000: An update of the AVD-1000 composite input board with the added benefit of de-interlacing support enabling connection to all HDMI input LCD controller boards. The AVD-2000 should also provide the benefit of fast source switching.
- MIPI: Custom controller models for MIPI panels.
- SP-1920-120: Providing support for 120Hz panels this new model is a cost effective 4K LCD controller board with frame buffer and built-in Full-HD media player.
In addition we highlighted a number of value added accessories such as the ambient light sensor, bluetooth remote control using apps from IOS or Android based devices.
On display as a demonstration we had the SVX-4096-SDM LCD controller board with support for Intel’s SDM compute platform as well sensor connection options for digital signage type environments.
