AUO has announced two new stretch panels (or banner panels if you prefer), a 37″ and 42″ both with a brightness rating of 1,500nit so suitable for high-bright environments.
- AUO 37″ model P370IVN03 has a resolution of 1920×540, size approx. 36.4″ x 10.9″ x 0.4″ (923.30mm x 277.1mm x 10.65mm), 0 ~ 50 °C operating temperature.
- AUO 42″ model P420IVN02 has a resolution of 1920×480, size TBC, 0 ~ 50 °C operating temperature.
Both models use LVDS, they can be used in landscape or portrait mode, and our understanding is that they are standard production models, ie they are not cut from larger size models.
Digital View has a number of LCD controllers that should be suitable for the new panels depending on application requirements. This includes standard LCD controller models and versions enhanced for harsher environments:
- DD-1920 models providing single input source.
- ALR-1920 and HLR-1920: Providing HDMI, Displayport, VGA input.
- SP-1920 and HSP-1920: HDMI, DVI, VGA, Component and Composite input, these models also include MP4 media failover.
- SVH-1920v2 and HE-1920v2: DVI, VGA, Component, Composite
- SVX-1920v3 and HX-1920v3: HDMI, DVI, VGA, Component, these models also include Ethernet connectivity for commands.
All models have features such as RS-232 connectivity with an extensive command set. Depending on the model various options are available such as Ethernet interface with connectivity for sensors & fans, 3G-SDI & HD-SDI input. A summary of accessories and options is shown here.
